Im inspired to teach because i have i have fallen into complete awe of the practice and the potential it holds to transform peoples lives, has it has for me. Asana seems like the most common doorway for people to enter into the practice and from there it begins to evolve. Yoga is ancient technology, and over time I’ve developed a deeply intimate relationship with it, leaning on it through both challenge and expansion. It has guided me back home to myself again and again.

I’ve been practicing for nearly 10 years, and never once did I think I would become a teacher. In 2023, I travelled to Indonesia to complete my 200-hour training purely for the experience. I left feeling full with no intention to teach.

A year and a half later, while living in Lennox Head, a simple conversation in passing changed everything. A woman mentioned a Yoga Shala in Sri Lanka I should visit, and in that moment, something within me just knew I had to teach there. Not long after, I found myself on a flight, teaching internationally for the very first time.

Now, three years on, it all makes sense. That conversation in passing changed everything for me.

Favourite beverage?

Ohh at the moment is has to be a Matcha from Noon in manly.

Favourite way to relax?

Me and my kindle somewhere in nature in the sun by the ocean. Or, a massage by my favourite on the beaches – Elysia – you can find her at Mesa in Freshwater.

Favourite class to practice?

Heated Vinyasa, I LOVE being in the fire.

Where did you grow up?

Northern Beaches.

What do you love to do when you aren’t teaching?

Falling in love with life, devotion to my own practice, and spending time with the people I love.

Favourite Beach?

I’m a sucker for bower in the mornings, and fairlight/harbour side in the afternoons

Ocean pool swim finished with a sunbathe.
