“Love Laura’s classes – her sense of play and lightness is infectious”
What qualities make a great teacher that you strive to emulate?
Being Real, Passionate and having FUN while doing it.
What is your most favourite pose, Why?
I mean…Savasana. Right?
When are you the happiest?
When I’m by the ocean, barefoot; with my morning cuppa; when I’m surrounded by loved ones having big ‘ol belly laughs.
What is the greatest lesson yoga has taught you?
Ahhhh it’s so hard to say; the learning is endless! Initially it was probably the practice of dropping into my body that was so profound. Then learning how to breathe – realising my own medicine was literally under my nose – was huge. There’s been countless more since then, and no doubt there will be many more to come which is also the most exciting part.
How do you relax after a hard day at work?
Take a long, slow walk somewhere; I’m really getting around the North Head strolls lately. I’m stoked to be in the Nature in general really… I also love to have a solo boogie at home to some groovy tunes (my poor neighbours).
