AYURVEDA – THE SCIENCE OF LIFE

About The Workshop
Ayurveda means “The Science of Life” and is often referred to as the sister science of Yoga as its teachings and principles tie hand in hand with what we learn on and off the yoga mat. Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.” As a set of practices that have remained almost completely unchanged for thousands of years there is more relevance today than ever before. By understanding the simple practices of Ayurveda we create a template through which we come to understand and work with our own bodies, our constitution, our lives and the world around us.
